Bird Of Paradise
An animated short film about women suffering from post natal depression and their ability to collectively overcome life’s obstacles. Devised, written and produced by the women themselves through workshops, the animation was entered into a film festival organised by Toxteth TV. Eleven women participated in the workshops and gained ‘Moving Image Skills Level One’ accreditation through MOCN.
Englars Circus
Writer Tracy Aston & Animator Sam Hatton worked with the Roots Trust to produce an animation “The Fantastic Englars Circus” with participants of the Roots Trust Day Care Centre. The group also visited St Winifred’s Well. Nine service users were involved in the project and nine people gained ‘Moving Image Skills Level One’ accreditation through MOCN.
